Local Artist to Exhibit at The Birdhouse

Roger Gregg, a local artist from Newport, Tn. is scheduled to exhibit at The Birdhouse in downtown Knoxville. “The Formlove Exhibit” will be introduced April 5th, 5:00 p.m. – 10:30 p.m. during a First Friday Event in which Roger Gregg will host and his works will remain on display during the entire month of April. This exhibit is inspired by “Theorism,” and as explained in an online interview with Mr. Gregg, “Theorism is a new discipline and philosophy of Arts.” Information on Theorism can be obtained at www.theorism.info in the Theorist Manifesto as well as at Mr. Gregg’s First Friday debut.

First Friday Events, as the name indicates, are scheduled on the first Friday of each month in the downtown Knoxville Arts District. These events are held in several venues and used to display the various works of local artists and craftsmen. All are encouraged to attend and support the many talents in our area. Roger Gregg’s opening is at The Birdhouse, located at 800 North 4th Ave. Come and experience Mr. Gregg’s Post-Modern, Lyrical Abstract Style. Music will be provided by violinist Emily Istre and guitarist, Marrianne Miller in a musical collaboration. Refreshments will be served and everyone is invited to come as you are and enjoy a night filled with the arts.
