C-N women’s tennis’ Stand skyrockets to all-SAC first team

Carson-Newman’s Stefy Stand has earned first team all-SAC honors in her junior season with the Eagles. Stand is Carson-Newman’s first first-team all-conference selection since Amanda Bartlett and Elizabeth Sneed were tabbed for the same honors in 2010.

Stand played all 17 of her matches at number one singles.

Her selection brings Carson-Newman to 36 all-conference picks all-time, including 25 first team choices. The Eagles are third all-time in the SAC in all-conference picks behind Wingate and Presbyterian, who is no longer in the league.
