Tennessee House of Representatives – District 11 – Jeremy Faison has recently been named Legislator of the Year by the Tennessee Development District Association. Representative Faison is in his sophomore term as a legislator, however, this is his first term as a representative for Jefferson County. Due to the redistricting process, Faison now splits Jefferson County with Representative Andrew Farmer, a first year legislator heralding from Sevier County. Faison’s areas of representation include parts of Jefferson County, Cocke County and Greene County. He currently resides in Cosby with his wife and five children. As a representative, Faison has taken a special interest in small business in the area and has been an outspoken conservative on issues such as gun ownership and property rights.

Beyond serving in the 107th and 108th General Assembly, Representative Faison has been a member of the House Local Government Committee, the Joint Fiscal Review Committee and the House Criminal Justice Committee, where he served as Vice-Chair.

Representative Faison was awarded Legislator of the Year based on his leadership and effort on behalf of his cities and counties, as well as his support of development districts in the legislature.
