Romantic Summer Style

Crochet is such a beautiful feminine style, it is chic season after season.  Long crochet skirts are so ethereal and comfortable.  Crochet packs like a dream, takes up such little room and never wrinkles. So for traveling I always take several crochet skirts in various lengths. A loosely woven crochet sweater worn over a cami is such a great look for day or evening.  It just depends on how casual or dressy one wishes, for a casual look, wear the sweater/cami style over jeans or shorts, for dressy, choose a slim skirt of linen or lace.

Speaking of lace, I adore lace and select lace dresses, skirts, jackets, tops every chance I get!!  Lace is also a timeless style.  My grandmother was photographed in a lovely black lace dress in the 1940’s and that same dress is in fashion today.  Lace is so romantic.  White lace is in vogue for summer.  Girls, by all means select a white lace skirt, a sheer top and a cami with lace straps or trim for a current beautiful feminine look. All in white!!

White is another summer must have, especially this season.  Look through the magazines and catalogues, they are blazing with white in all attire.  Nothing is more elegant and sexy at the same time than a woman on a hot summer day, dressed in white. Romantic, soft, cool feminine white for summer is stunning.

Colored watch bands are a must have for the summer fashion.  White is so chic and my favorite, but when I saw the pastel mauve watch band Paula Rugel-Gibson wears, I wanted THAT one also!!  Another friend of mine, Sherry Grooms has a darling red band that is so cute with casual wear.  Yep, I want THAT one also!!!!

Girls, you know what I mean, when some fashion item catches our attention, we want it, doesn’t mean we are going to get it ,  But sometimes dreams do come true, birthdays, Valentine’s Day, Christmas, 4th of July, Presidents’ Day,  Ground Hog Day,  yes, darlings you know what I mean.
