Bronze Bling

Hello darlings, if one wants to be in vogue, one must reach for bronze, gold or silver eye shadow, nail polish or clothes.

Bronze is really the trend and the eye shadow looks so pretty on blue eyes- it makes them pop!  Gold is the ticket for brown and hazel eyes.  Silver is so alluring for night wear on all the eye colors, it makes the eye area shimmer like stars.

Darlings, the nail polish in any of the metallic colors is so chic.  I would suggest choosing the color of one’s metallic eye shadow for the nails for a perfect match;

If the metallic are too daring for some of my readers, the timeless favorite for summer is coral for the nails and pretty toes.  If your skin tone has a golden tone, choose an orange coral, for a pink or pale tone, a pink coral will be beautiful for one’s complexion.    One of the most important bits of knowledge for bringing out beauty is matching make up to skin tones.  When shopping for cosmetics, ask the person at the counter to help select the perfect shade for one’s skin tone.  It is amazing how something so simple can make all the difference in your appearance.

Bronze is also the latest trend in jewelry.  Bronze does not contain nickel and is less irritating to one who has a problem wearing most jewelry.  Bronze is not coated in gold, silver or platinum, which wears off with age and has to be repaired.  Jewelry made from bronze will last forever and may become heirloom pieces that can be treasured for generations.

Stacked bracelets are so in fashion. Stacked jewelry is worn with the watch between two other bracelets.  It gives an instant look of being fashion savvy.  So elegant!

Darlings, I met a most beautiful lady in church.  She was sitting in front of me and I happened to notice how beautiful her red hair was styled. Now, I am a firm believer in never missing an opportunity to compliment a person with a genuine comment.  So, I leaned forward, while others were being seated and compliment her hair style.   She turned toward me with the brightest blue eyes, perfect make up and a smile so brilliant. As we chatted, she informed me her ninety-third birthday was very soon.   Needless to say, this was hard to believe, as she seemed so much younger.  I told her so and that she should write a book on her life style.  She replied, “Oh honey, I am too busy.” “My life is just filled with love, love all people and all God has given us.”

Could there be a more perfect life than one that lights up the world with love?  Love is, more precious than all the gold, silver and bronze in the world and the key to true beauty.
