Swann & Tubbs Winners of Patriot 5K

The first annual Patriot 5k took place this past Friday in Jefferson City. The race began and ended at the Jefferson County High School with a scenic route throughout the county. All age groups from fourteen years and up were invited to come and walk, run, or bike the course.

The racers started out bright and early at 8 o’ clock a.m. There was a substantial amount of racers participating. There were still bikers to be spotted at 10 o’ clock that morning. There was a winner in every age group both including male and female along with overall winners.

Andee Swann was the overall female race winner with a time of 20:56.85. The overall male race winner was TJ Tubbs coming in at 21:18.66.
