Tennessee Valley Fair Announces 2013 Summer Reading Program, June 17, 2013

Free community program emphasizes literacy, agriculture

Beginning June 17, children of all ages will fill area libraries to learn more about agriculture and enjoy a little Fun on the Farm.

The Tennessee Valley Fair Summer Reading Program celebrates its 6th year in 2013. Hosted by Jasper, the Fair’s rooster mascot and the 2012 Fairest of the Fair, Kassie Perkins, participating children will enjoy storytelling and interactive activities. Each child will also receive a free ticket to the 2013 Fair. All summer reading events are free and open to the public:
