PUBLIC NOTICE – Tennessee Local Development Authority Seeks Public Input for Proposed Loan Modification Policy

The Tennessee Local Development Authority is currently seeking public input on a proposed loan modification policy for State Revolving Fund loans.

The State Revolving Fund is a program which allows local governments, utilities and water and wastewater authorities to obtain low-interest loans to finance improvements to drinking water and wastewater equipment and facilities. The policy is designed to give some flexibility to governments, utilities or authorities that experience financial difficulties during their loan repayment periods.

To view the proposed policy online, go to:  http://www.comptroller.tn.gov/TLDA/meeting.asp

For comments or questions about the policy, please contact Sandi Thompson, director of the Comptroller’s Office of State and Local Finance, or Alicia Scott, bond accountant, by telephone at (615) 747-5368 or by fax at (615) 741-5986.

The deadline for submitting comments is July 31.

The Tennessee Local Development Authority will discuss the proposed policy and any public comments received at a future meeting.
