Farrar Endorses Adderhold for County Clerk

I would like to take this opportunity to give you a heart-felt thank you for allowing me to serve as your County Clerk. It has been a great privilege and honor to have met and worked with so many of the fine people of Jefferson County.

The time is drawing near to elect one of the three fine candidates that are running to be your next County Clerk. I guess I am a little biased, but I can’t think of a more experienced and knowledgeable candidate than Travis Adderhold. Travis has worked for me for over fifteen years and is currently my Chief Deputy Clerk.

Travis holds a B.S. in Business Administration from U.T. He has been active in the Jefferson County Republican Party and served on the Executive Committee. Travis is married to his wife, Leslie and together they have four children. He and his family are active in their church, Oakland United Methodist.

Over the years, Travis has been very helpful implementing new functions for the office which allow us to serve the public better. He helped initiate our in-house approval and printing of titles early in his employment. This has been profitable for the county and created more responsibilities for the clerk’s office. I relied on his insight when we considered the addition of taking credit/debit cards as payment for transactions. This allowed us to offer on-line renewals and helped to reduce the number of bad checks written to the office. Most recently we have contracted with the state to scan and store all motor vehicle records submitted which gives us instant access to the records. This process not only gives us access to these records immediately but also provides additional revenue for the office.

The duties in the County Clerk’s office are innumerable, and Travis has experience in every aspect of this office. There is no doubt that Travis Adderhold has the right experience and is the right choice for your next Jefferson County Clerk.
