Jennifer Inman Little announces her campaign for reelection as State Executive Committeewoman for the 8th Senate District. Jennifer currently serves Claiborne, Grainger, Hancock, Hawkins, Jefferson and Union Counties.

Each senate district elects by ballot one man and one woman to serve on the state committee.

Committeewoman Little has served in multiple county party leadership rolls as well as president and secretary of the Republican Women’s club. She has served on the Board of Directors of the Tennessee Federation of Republican Women as Secretary and Area V.P. and is the current Bylaws Chairman.

Campaigns are not new to Committeewoman Little. “I worked in Sen. Frist’s campaign when he ran and Congressman Van Hilleary’s. Sen. Frist appointed me to chair the campaign of George W. Bush in upper East TN 2000.” Little worked in the next three presidential campaigns and served as a delegate to the Republican National Convention in 2012.

The State Executive Committee is the policy making board for the state party. Committee members serve on the State Primary Board. “Recently we had two contested races to make a decision on”, Committeewoman Little noted. “Our responsibility as a committee is to assist in recruiting, advising and supporting our Republican candidates. We serve on each county’s executive committee and are the liaison between the TN Republican Party and the county parties.”

Committeewoman Little serves her district with a heart for party politics. Committee members receive no pay for their service and must attend meetings in Nashville on a quarterly basis as well as meetings in their district. “Service to my party is my passion” Committeewoman Little states. “Some committee members are there for a social position. I intend to continue to serve my district with integrity. I am always available to answer questions or attend meetings and events”.

Committeewoman Little is a former surgical nurse and currently serves as a volunteer director of tourism for the Grainger County Chamber of Commerce. She lives with her husband Frank in Bean Station and has three grandchildren.

“Your vote and support are appreciated.” Committeewoman Little declared. Early voting begins July 18.
