Getting Down on the Farm

Lost Creek Band was down on the farm Saturday evening, as the Dumplin Valley Farm Concert Series held its kick off night. The annual concert series brings a new musical talent to Jefferson County on the second Saturday of each month, from May until August. Located on the Havely Farm at 549 East Dumplin Valley Road ( directly across from Mt Horeb Elementary School), the outdoor venue allows a laid back, relaxed atmosphere to listen to big city quality performers. Barbara Turner jump started the evening with a rich tone of old school rock and blues. Local favorites Lost Creek Band headlined the evening, bringing bluegrass and country alive in the valley. Music lovers packed the farm to enjoy the first concert of the season. Coming in June, the farm will be rocking to the tunes of Tractorhead and Hillbilly Bonez.
