PUBLIC NOTICE TO FILL VACANCY

The Jefferson County Commission Nominating Committee is accepting applicant resumes and references to complete the unexpired term of Brad Jenkins on the Industrial Development Board of Jefferson County. Directors serve on a voluntary basis.

Qualifications: (T.C.A. § 7-53-301) Applicant shall reside within and be duly qualified elector of and taxpayer in Jefferson County. No director shall be an officer or employee of Jefferson County.

The IDB is composed of nine members elected by the County Legislative Body. The Board works with the Chamber of Commerce, local government, and regional/state economic development agencies to promote new industry, commerce, and trade, and maintain and increase employment in the County.
