Coy Douglas Roach, age 72, of Talbott, TN passed away unexpectedly Sunday, October 23, 2016 from complications of a stroke. He was a member of New Blackwell Baptist Church and was retired from Briggs Industries with 34 years of service. Preceded in death by parents, Robert and Dessie Mae Roach. He is survived by wife of 44 years, Ledena Longmire Roach of the home; son, Jeremy Roach and fiancé, Charlotte Greer of Talbott; and daughter, Stephanie (Ellery) Drinnon of Talbott; special granddaughter, Kailee Roach; brothers, Leon (Faye) Roach of Rutledge, Lawrence Roach of New Market; sister, Barbara (James) Gray of Rutledge; nieces, Kim (David) Morgan, Deb (Steve) Bull of Rutledge and Crystal Thomas of Jefferson City. Funeral service will be 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at Farrar Funeral Home, Jefferson City with Rev. Randy Morgan and Rev. Gary Satterfield officiating. Graveside interment service will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 26, 2016 in Jefferson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Tuesday prior to the service at the funeral home.
