GLENDA DeANN HAHN

Glenda DeAnn Hahn passed away peacefully in Knoxville, TN on November 12, 2016 at the age of 78.

Glenda is predeceased by her parents George Thomas and Helen Cochran, sisters Gwenera Lillard, Robbie Eason, and brother Tommy Cochran.

Glenda is survived by her loving husband of 55 years. They were married in Savannah, GA on September 9, 1961.

Glenda is lovingly remembered by  daughters Yolanda Chidester and Sabrina Huntoon, son-in-law Marty Huntoon, granddaughters Caitlain and Erika Chidester, grandson Jackson Hahn, and great-grandson Dean Thomas Lambert of Knoxville, TN; her sisters Paige Wilbur of Sun City, AZ; Anette Cochran of Douglasville, GA; and Darys Cochran of Vidalia, GA; and multiple nieces and nephews.

Glenda was born in Toombs County, GA on October 21, 1938 and graduated from Toombs County High School in 1955. She went on to earn a bookkeeping degree from Draughns College in Savannah, Ga and worked for a short time before marrying the love of her life and traveling the world as a military wife. In later years, Glenda enjoyed bowling and traveled the country on many trips; she also gave her time to multiple charitable organizations.

The family will be holding a private service in remembrance.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the PROM OF THE STARS fund at Farragut Christian Church 138 Admiral Road, Knoxville, TN 37934. PROM OF THE STARS is a Free Prom for physically and mentally challenged individuals, ages 15 and older, which is totally supported by the community.
