The Jefferson County Post Turns Six Today!

Happy Birthday to Us! The Jefferson County Post turns six on January 31, 2017 and we are excited to spend another year as your daily news source. We launched our first edition on January 31, 2011 and there have been many changes over the course of the past six years. For those that have been with us from the beginning, you may remember that our first edition looked very different from what you see today. As our readership grew, so did the need to go to a daily updated publication. We are happy to spend each day with you and appreciate our readers and advertisers. You make our world turn! As has become customary, we will be adding something new in honor of another year and plan to make 2017 the best year yet at The Post! Look for an exciting new take on current news with a thought provoking perspective, as we launch “She Said, He Said.” Follow Journalist Elizabeth Lane and Assistant Editor Jake Depew while they take on current issues. “She Said, He Said” will launch this Monday so be sure to check it out. There are some other additions coming your way and we are planning to return a couple of past favorites just in time for warm weather so stay tuned to The Post.

From Editor Jeff Depew and the staff at the Jefferson County Post, thank you for another great year! Six is certainly sensational!
