Eason-Pile named director of annual giving and donor relations for UT Institute of Agriculture and UT Foundation

Donna Eason-Pile has been named director of annual giving and donor relations for the University of Tennessee Institute of Agriculture and the UT Foundation, Inc.

“The Institute is fortunate to have Donna in this important role,” said UTIA Chancellor Larry Arrington. “Her corporate background as well as her experience with UT Extension will be exceptionally beneficial as she helps steward these areas of our advancement operation.”

Eason-Pile joined the UT Institute of Agriculture in August 2010 as assistant development director for UT Extension. In her new role, she will be responsible for the institute’s stewardship programs and manage its annual giving operations.

“Donna is a wonderful colleague and will excel in this new role for us,” said UTIA Vice Chancellor of Institutional Advancement Keith Barber. “Her uncanny ability to engage all parties and her attention to detail are essential for this position. With Donna at the helm, I’m confident we will be successful at addressing these two crucial areas of advancement.”

Prior to joining UTIA, she served as business development manager for Integrated Management Resources and director of marketing and public relations for Summit Health Management. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in agricultural leadership and extension communication through the UTIA’s College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources.

The UT Institute of Agriculture provides instruction, research and public service through the UT College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources, the UT College of Veterinary Medicine, UT AgResearch, including its system of 10 research and education centers, and UT Extension offices in every county in the state.
