INVITATION TO BID

Jefferson County School Board will be accepting sealed bids from qualified contractors for the Additions and Renovations to White Pine School Bid Package # 6.  This bid package contains two bid scopes.   One is for the Roof Accessories (Materials Only).  The other is a contract for labor and material for the gutters, downspouts, coping and pre-finished metal continuous drip edge. Bids shall be in a sealed envelope with an envelope cover issued by the construction manager.

Sealed bids are due Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at 2:00 pm, at which time the bids will be opened publically and read aloud.  The location of receiving bids shall be the Jefferson County Finance Department, 1244 Gay Street, Dandridge, TN.  Bids may be submitted by mail.  Bidder shall mail or deliver the bid to the Jefferson County Finance Department. The mailing address is P. O. Box 1749, Dandridge, TN  37725.   If bidder submits his bid by hand delivery on Bid Day, please deliver to 1244 Gay Street, Dandridge, TN, for the public opening, as noted herein.  Bidder shall be responsible for timely delivery of bids. Oral, email, fax nor telephone bids will not be accepted. Erasure or other changes in the bids must be explained or noted over the signature of the bidder.

Time is of the essence due to school schedules.  Bidders should carefully review this schedule prior to submission of bids.
