Wolf PAWS ‘Positive Awareness Wolf-dog Sanctuary’ Hosts 4th Annual Fundraiser “WolfStock”

Wolf PAWS invites the public to their fourth annual fundraiser “WolfStock” to be held on Saturday, October 6th from 12-5 pm at their wolf-dog sanctuary located at 2525 Edgewater Lane in Dandridge.

Event: WolfStock visitors will get to tour the sanctuary and see the resident wolf-dogs, enjoy barbecue from the Gigglin’ Pig, and have a chance to howl along to live music from the Cosby Creek Band and the Edwards Band. Local vendor booths will help WolfStock guests get a jump on their “howl-i-day” shopping. Plus, a silent auction will offer some truly one-of-a-kind finds. There is no admission fee, but donations are greatly appreciated & needed. All funds raised go directly towards the care of our resident wolf-dogs. No children under 12. No pets. No coolers please.

“Every year, thousands of pet wolf-dogs are surrendered because people purchase these animals they are not prepared to care for,” said Jennifer Ackley, Executive Director of Wolf PAWS. “Moonbeam, Eko, Spirit, and the rest of the pack invite you to WolfStock. We know you’ll fall in love with these beautiful animals who are our ambassadors for educating the public about wolf-dogs and why we discourage having them as pets.”

About Wolf PAWS: Wolf PAWS “Positive Awareness Wolf-dog Sanctuary” was formed in 2013 in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains of East Tennessee for the purpose of rescuing abandoned, neglected and abused wolf-dogs, providing a permanent sanctuary for them,  providing an environment where these animals can be studied by individuals and educational institutions to further understand the wolf-dog, and educating the public about responsible and humane care of wolf-dogs as pet animals, in an attempt to reduce the number of wolf-dogs being euthanized.

Wolf PAWS is 100% volunteer-based. All funds go directly toward the care of our resident animals and facilities maintenance. Wolf PAWS is a 501(c)(3) organization. All contributions to Wolf PAWS are tax-deductible. For more information or to donate online, please visit www.wolfpaws.org.
