What: East Tennessee Spelling Bee
When: Saturday, March 26th, 2022. Doors open at 11:00 am and competition begins at noon
Where: Cox Auditorium, Alumni Memorial Building, UT Knoxville Campus.
Parking available in Staff Lot 9, across from Alumni Memorial and Neyland Stadium

About: The East Tennessee Spelling is the qualifying event for the Scripps National Spelling Bee
and is being held in-person for the first time since 2020. Counties and school districts in
East Tennessee have been holding qualifiers and the top-50 spellers will be competing.
This year’s East Tennessee Spelling Bee is sponsored by the Tennessee Titans and is free
and open to the public.
