According to reports from the scene, Jefferson City Police Officers answered a domestic dispute call at Martha Glass Apartments that has ended in the suspect being shot. Official Information is still sketchy, however initial reports indicate that the suspect did possess a knife and refused to comply with Police request to drop the weapon. Police attempted to control the situation through use of bean bag shots but were unsuccessful in fazing the suspect. The Jefferson City Police Department has referred the situation to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigations for review and the Post is awaiting contact from their media relations representative concerning particulars of the incident. Updates will be posted as they occur, however all current information is not from an official source but, rather, from the scene.
