Dandridge Community Trust is hosting their Annual Planning Meeting for the 2014 Dandridge Farmers Market.  Current and future Farmers Market vendors are invited to attend.  The meeting will be held on Thursday, February 20th at the UT Extension office in Dandridge, beginning at 5:30 p.m.  Pizza will be provided but please provide your own beverages.

Agenda items for discussion include but are not limited to:

  • Market Start Date and Time
  • Necessary Rule Changes
  • Updates based on TN Farmers Market Expo attendance (samplings, containers, hand washing, pets, etc.)
  • Update of Pavilion
  • GAP Speaker Anthony Carver (Grainger Co. Extension Agent)

2014 is the 6th year of the Seasonal Farmers Market in Dandridge.  The market is open (traditionally) May through November at the intersection of Meeting and Gay Street in historic downtown Dandridge from 9 a.m.- Noon.  Products available throughout season include broad assortment of vegetables, fruits, herbs, plantings, fresh eggs, and a variety of homemade pastas, soups and much more.
