Maury Middle School wrestlers placed second behind West View Middle School in a contest too close to call until the final match of the competition, missing first place by just 6 points in the tournament held Saturday, February 8 at Lincoln Heights Middle School. Jefferson Middle School and White Pine School also competed in the tournament along with 3 additional Hamblem County middle schools. All Jefferson County wrestlers showed determination and skill as they competed, as well as great sportsmanship in both victory and defeat. Congratulations to Maury Middle School and all the individual winners of the tournament.
