Seniors for the winter sports at Jefferson County High School were honored Friday night. Sport’s that were included in the festivities were swimming, dance team, cheerleading, girls’ basketball, and boys’ basketball.
Highlight of the evening was when senior girls’ basketball player and Brenau University signee, Autumn Dodson, was rewarded a basketball commemorating her 1,000+ point scoring career as a Lady Patriot. Her brother, and former JCHS standout Trey Dodson, rewarded her with the basketball, surprisingly making the emotional trip from Nashville, Tn where he attends Vanderbilt University.
The boys’ basketball seniors Malik Styles, Corey Jenkins, Brice Cusick, and Zack Myers, were given life sized “fatheads” of themselves playing for the Patriots.
The Jefferson County Post would like to congratulate all of these athletes on their successful athletic careers at Jefferson County High School.
