GOP LINCOLN-REAGAN DAY DINNER SET FOR MARCH 21

The Jefferson County Republican Party is holding its annual Lincoln-Reagan Day Dinner on March 21st at Stokely Memorial Cafeteria. Doors will open at 6:00 pm with dinner served at 6:30 pm.

The guest speaker this year is Mr. Dennis Boggs with an educational and entertaining presentation detailing the life and times of our 16th president. Mr. Boggs has researched countless books and papers and has diligently designed a presentation offered in full character that encompasses the fifty-six years of Abraham Lincoln’s life from his birth in the Kentucky wilderness to his assassination in Ford’s Theater. “We believe everyone will thoroughly enjoy Mr. Boggs’ opportunity for us to Meet Mr. Lincoln”, says Barry Fain, 1st Vice-chair of the local Republican Party. “He has refined his performance for nearly fifteen years and travelled our nation presenting it to a multitude of audiences.”

2014 promises to be an exciting election year with contested races on the county, state and federal levels in the May and August Republican primaries. “Confirmation has been received for candidates from nearly all campaigns to be on hand at this year’s annual Lincoln-Reagan Day Dinner in JeffersonCounty”, notes Fain. “We are hoping to see a record turnout of Republican voters this year to meet the candidates vying for their support in the upcoming primary elections.”

Individual tickets are $30.00. Tickets will be available for purchase on the night of the event at the door. If you have not already reserved your tickets, contact Paula Rugel-Gibson at (865) 254-7474 and make plans to attend the premier Republican gathering of the year in Jefferson County.
