Genevieve “Genny” Welch, age 79, of Talbott, TN passed away Saturday, March 15, 2014. Preceded in death by husband, Bobby Welch; son, Ricky Welch. She attended Mount Vale Church of God. Survivors include sisters, Mary Ellen Yates of Erwin, TN, Geraldine (Frank) Gass of Jefferson City, TN and Barbara (Harlon) Arnold of Jonesborough, TN; brother, Frank Yates of Erwin, TN; special nephew, Carroll (Linda) Walker of Talbott, TN; brother-in-law, Jack (Minnie) Welch; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at Farrar Funeral Home, Jefferson City with Rev. T.H. Ferrell and Rev. Tony Collins officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 a.m. Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at Jefferson Memorial Gardens for an 11:00 a.m. graveside service. The family will receive friends 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Tuesday prior to the service at the funeral home.
