Jefferson County defeats Daniel Boone, 9-4

Jefferson County would jump out 3-0 Friday night and it looked like it was going to be the same ole Patriot baseball game. Daniel Boone would not let that be the case, coming back in the fifth inning with two runs and tying the game at 3-3 going to the bottom of the fifth. Earlier this season, South Doyle was able to come back and the Patriots were not able to respond. This time Jefferson County would respond in a big way, scoring six runs over the next two innings and rolling to an easy win , 9-4.

Freshman pitcher, Brandon Saylor, would get the win for the Patriots only allowing 2 hits in five innings of work. Silver Munguia and Kyle Briggs would lead the Pats at the dish both going 2-4 with a single and a double a piece.
