8th Grade Girls Recognized in Red vs. Blue
JC Red and JC Blue went head to head on Saturday for a little in County competition in middle school girl’s softball. Both the Varsity and Junior Varsity saw action at the Field of Dreams in Dandridge on Saturday afternoon. JC Red came out the victor of the challenge, leading JC Blue 8-3 to seal the win. JC Red Junior Varsity also brought home the win, besting the JC Blue Junior Varsity by 4 points for a final tally of 17-13. Between the two games, eighth grade team members were recognized for their contribution to the middle school softball program. Middle School Softball has become a hot ticket for young women looking for an athletic outlet and some experience before tryouts to clinch a spot on the Lady Patriot’s Softball team as a student at Jefferson County High School.
