Millburn, New Jersey’s High School baseball came to Dumplin Valley on Thursday night. They made three stops in the East Tennessee area over the course of 3 days. Those stops included a 4-2 loss at the hands of perennial power Farragut , A victory over Sevier County 7-2, and a 6-1 victory over Jefferson County.

Jefferson County led early 1-0, but errors in the third would allow Millburn to score 6 runs and lead 6-1 after 3. That would be the only runs scored by either team as that would be your final, 6-1

Millburn is probably the most talented team that Jefferson County would face all season, as they have 4 players that have signed LOI (Letters of Intent) to continue their baseball careers at the collegiate level. Milo Freeman, Shortstop,(Rutgers University.) Nick Meo, Outfielder,( Ithaca College.)Aidan Favia, Utility,(Monmouth University.) and Evy Ruibal, Pitcher,( University of Notre Dame.)

Jefferson County did manage to gain 5 hits off them but could only plate one controversial run. Jefferson County falls to 10-18 on the season and just 4-16 over their last 20 games.
