VIRGINIA RUTH HALE SENTER, age 98, of Talbott, TN passed away March 26, 2015. She was the oldest charter member of Lakeshore Baptist Church in Talbott, and retired from Appalachian Electric Cooperative with 24 years of service. Preceded in death by husband, James Horace (Buddy) Senter; parents, John Bryon Hale and Ida Mae Hodges Hale; brothers, John B., Howard, Marvin and Kenneth Hale; sister, Frances Hale Moore. She is survived by daughter, Buddie Ruth Senter Franklin; grandson, James “Jim” Franklin (Jena); great-grandsons, Tyler, Tanner and Caleb; several nieces and nephews. Memorial service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Monday, March 30, 2015 at Lakeshore Baptist Church with Rev. Lee Brown and Rev. Jim Franklin officiating. Family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. prior to the service. Family and friends will gather at 9:45 a.m. Tuesday morning at Sunderland Cemetery for a 10:00 a.m. graveside interment service.
