KATHLEEN SHORTER GRAHAM
KATHLEEN SHORTER GRAHAM passed into eternal salvation on August 18, 2015 in Dandridge, Tennessee at the age of 88.
Kathleen is survived by her devoted husband of 70 years, Thomas W. Graham; children, Ronnie L. Graham and spouse Lynn Graham of Chattanooga, Tennessee, Ricky A. Graham and spouse Cathy Graham of Dandridge, Tennessee; granddaughter, Christy Graham; great grandchildren, Bridgette Graham, Thomas A. Graham, Danielle Chastean Graham, and Michael Lee Graham. Kathleen was preceded in death by brother, Jack Shorter; sisters, Chastean Jones; step-sisters, Harriet Lamb, and Rachel Burnett, and granddaughter Donia M. Graham.
Kathleen was born on March 7, 1927 in Rogersville, Tennessee to mother, Laura Stuffle and father, Alonso Shorter. Her husband and children remember her as a devoted wife, and a mother who loved and encouraged them to be steadfast in the pursuit of their dreams and goals.
A celebration of Kathleen’s life with friends and family will be held at Farrar Funeral Home in Dandridge, Tennessee on Friday, August 21, 2015 at 7:00pm, where receiving of friends will be from 5:00 to 7:00pm prior to the service. A graveside entombmenet service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday August 22, 2015 at Sherwood Memorial Gardens, 3176 Airport Highway, Alcoa, Tennessee 37701. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Jefferson County Nursing Home, 914 Industrial Park Rd., Dandridge, TN 37725. The family would like to thank the caregivers at the Jefferson County Nursing Home (Franklin Cottage) and Smoky Mountain Hospice for their care.
