A new, unique experience has come to the historic town square in Dandridge. Create by the Lake, the most recent venture of local business woman Kelley Coffey, is adding a different dimension to the activities available for locals and visitors. Create by the Lake offers those looking for entertainment the chance to try their hand at art, the easy, fun way. Local artist Miranda Lewis instructs step by step the creation of your own masterpiece. Each session, a different scene will be painted courtesy of hands on help from Lewis. Coffey, who operates Cosmo Medical and the popular Cosmo Boutique, both of which are adjacent to Create by the Lake, brought the idea to Dandridge after attending a similar session while out of town.

A little wine, a little paint and a whole lot of fun are the order of the day at Create by the Lake. Coffey has already had group reservations for the artistic adventure but individuals should not shy away from sitting in for a session or two, as it is a great way to meet new friends or just spend a evening out. Check out Create by the Lake on Facebook to see some of the interesting groups, from children’s parties to girl’s night out, as well as groups of new friends, and their creations. Supplies are provided so all that is needed is the desire to have a little artsy interactive enjoyment. No skill required but fun is mandatory. Create by the Lake is just one more way that business is expanding and opportunities for adventure are opening up in Jefferson County.
