BRIAN MCCOY, age 56, of Strawberry Plains, TN went to be with the Lord on August 21, 2016. He was a retired employee of Johnson and Galyon. Brian served many years as a deacon and was a member of Rutledge Pike Baptist Church. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 36 years, Carla; son, Brian Charles (Wendy) McCoy; grandchildren, Gavin and Maddie; brothers, David McCoy (Belle), Mitch McCoy (Marilyn), and Brent McCoy (Melissa), all of Toledo, OH; sisters, Nancy Crowley (David) of Williamsburg, KY, Mary Faye Bridges (Wayne) of Oliver Springs, TN, and Janet Bullock (Ronald) of Marlow, TN; numerous nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at Farrar Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Henry Greer and Rev. Dustin Copeland officiating. Graveside interment service will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday morning at Valley View Cemetery.
