PETE MONROE SCARLETT, age 66, of Jefferson City, TN passed away suddenly Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at Jefferson Memorial Hospital. He was of the Baptist faith. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army, and a retired truck driver from Loven Concrete with 20 years of service. Preceded in death by his parents, Jay and Bonnie Scarlett; and brother, Bill Scarlett. Survived by son and daughter-in-law, Tommy and Carol Anne Scarlett of Maryville, TN; grandson, Trevor Scarlett; granddaughter, Charlise Scarlett; several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives. Graveside funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 27, 2013 at New Market Cemetery with Ernest Hickle and Don Watson officiating. Friends may call at their convenience Saturday from 12:00 until 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
