INVITATION TO BID

The Jefferson County Purchasing Department will be accepting sealed bids for HDPE PIPE AND ASSOCIATED FITTINGS for Jefferson County Sanitation Department.

  1. Approximately 750 Lf of 8” smooth interior, corrugated, HDPE pipe with associated fittings (350 Lf perforated and 400 Lf solid).
  2. Approximately 300 Lf of 6” smooth interior, corrugated, perforated HDPE pipe with associated fittings.
  3. Approximately 750 Lf of 18” HDPE, SDR9 pipe and associated fittings. Bid must include fusion welding of all 18” joints.
  4. Approximately 400 Lf of 2” HDPE, SDR9 pipe and associated fittings. Bid must include fusion welding of all 2” joints.

A specification packet MUST be requested in order to submit a bid.

Sealed bids should be labeled “HDPE PIPE AND ASSOCIATED FITTINGS” and either mailed to the Jefferson County Finance Department to the attention of Finance Director Langdon Potts, at P.O. Box 1749, Dandridge, TN, 37725, or dropped off at 1244 Gay St., Dandridge, TN, 37725. Bids will be accepted until 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 26, 2020, at which time bids will be opened in the Finance Department conference room. Oral, email, and telephone bids will not be accepted.

Jefferson County reserves the right to ACCEPT OR REJECT any and all bids and to WAIVE ANY AND ALL IRREGULARITIES IN THE RECEIPT/HANDLING OF BIDS. THE AWARDED BIDDER MUST BE IN GOOD STANDING WITH THE COUNTY OF JEFFERSON.
