Happy Halloween 2020

This Halloween is destined to be a special one! With Halloween falling on a Saturday, it is the perfect scenario to have a full day of spooky, scary fun.
This, however, is not all that makes this year’s Halloween interesting: two full moons are occurring this October. The first full moon, the Full Harvest Moon, fell on October 1st when the moon appeared right after sunset causing bright, cascading moonlight beginning in the early evening. The second full moon, the Full Hunter’s Moon, falls on Halloween itself. The Hunter’s moon will look larger than a traditional full moon, and it will be orange in color, adding to the suspense of the night of Halloween. Spookiness factors will be at an all time high with a giant, glowing orange moon hanging in the sky.

Beware this All Hallows’ Eve; watch out for those ding-dong-ditchers, jam out to Thriller all night long, and grab as much candy as you can! But don’t forget to gaze at the Full Hunter’s Moon in all it’s glory.
