Rev. Clinton Burl Ryder

Rev. Clinton Burl Ryder, pastor of Wesleyan Bible Tabernacle of Greeneville, Tn. went to be with the Lord at his home on February 11, 2021.  Born on July 9, 1941 to Lozy and Rev Burl Ryder in Elkins, WV. Clinton began his pastoring career in 1959 in Eastliver Pool, Ohio. He married his wife Judy in June of 1962 and returned to Berkeley Springs, WV to pastor before moving to Tennessee then North Carolina and back to Tennessee where he served as active pastor for 35 years until his death.  In addition to his life service in the ministry he worked at his trade in engineering in the printing industry that he retired from in the late 90’s.  Clinton was preceded in death by his Parents Lozy and Burl, Stepmother: Lois, Sister: Jolene, and Son-in-law: Joseph Romines.  Clinton is survived by his wife of 57 years Judy, Son Mark, Daughter Michelle, Son Kevin and his wife April, Sister Shelia and her husband Jeff Mashburn of Ohio. Grandson: Mark Allen, Grandaughters: Brittany Burnham and Brooklyn Romines. Two great grandsons and one great granddaughter.  A funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 14, 2021 at 2:00pm in Clintons home church Wesleyan Bible Tabernacle. Officiating the service will be Rev. William Swope and Rev. Dale Chapman.
