2022 TN Saves Piggy Bank Pageant

The 2021 Sevier County Winning Piggy Banks

Children Pre-K to 12th grade, are invited to participate in the 2022 TN Saves Piggy Bank Pageant, March 1-12. To enter, students use their imagination and creativity to hand craft a Piggy Bank. The Sevier County Piggy Bank entries will be judged, and winners selected at each grade level. The County Winners will then be eligible to compete on a State Level with online voting across the state, during the week of April 18.

To participate in this fun activity/craft – an entry form with guidelines must be completed. Forms may be picked up at any TN State Bank, Sevier County Public Library Branch, or the UT Sevier County Extension Office. Banks must be brought to the King Family Library during the dates of March 1 through March 12. After judging, monetary prizes will be provided by TN State Bank for winning Piggy Banks at each grade category. UT Extension, Sevier County Public Library System, and Keep Sevier Beautiful are also collaborating to sponsor the TN Saves Piggy Bank Pageant in Sevier County.

This Pageant is a county and state activity aimed at helping young people start the habit of saving money early in their lives. Small steps can lead to big savings over time! For more information about building savings visit America Saves https://americasaves.org/
