INVITATION TO BID – Request for Proposals for “Construction Management Services for the Remodel of Jefferson Elementary School (JES)
Request for Proposals (RFP):
The Jefferson County Board of Education and Purchasing Department will be accepting sealed proposals for “Construction Management Services for the Remodel of Jefferson Elementary School (JES). A Mandatory walk-through will be held on June 5, 2025, at 10:00am ET at Jefferson Elementary School located at 321 W. Broadway Blvd. Jefferson City, TN 37760. A copy of the RFP documents, specifications, and renovation analysis may be retrieved on the county website at www.jeffersoncountytn.gov/finance-department. Proposals Must be: 1) submitted in a sealed envelope, 2) envelope must be clearly marked “JES Construction Management Services” 3) official proposal must be signed and attached to all other requested documents in RFP. Sealed proposals should be either mailed to the Jefferson County Finance Department to the attention of Purchasing Agent Julie Anglea at PO Box 1749, Dandridge, TN, 37725, or dropped off at 1244 Gay St., Dandridge, TN, 37725. Proposals will be accepted until 2:00pm, Wednesday June 18, 2025, at which time bids will be opened in the Finance Department conference room. Late bids will not be accepted, opened, or returned. If awarded, the successful vendor will be required to provide an Affidavit of Compliance with Tennessee Criminal History Records Check.
Jefferson County reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids and to waive any and all irregularities in the receipt/handling of ITB. The awarded bidder must be in good standing with the County of Jefferson. Jefferson County assures that no person shall on the grounds of race, color, national origin, or sex, as provided by Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and as amended, and the Civil Rights Restoration Act of 1987 (P.I. 100.259) be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be otherwise subjected to discrimination under any program or activity receiving Federal Financial Assistance from the Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT).
