Invitation to Bid: Jefferson County Schools Entry-Way Canopy

Jefferson County Purchasing Dept. will be accepting sealed bids for the “Jefferson County Schools Entry-Way Canopy for Rush Strong and White Pine School”. A Mandatory PreBid meeting will be held on December 22, 2025, at 10:00am ET beginning at White Pine School located at 3060 Roy Messer Highway White Pine, TN 37890 and then following Rush Strong School located at 3081 W. Old A J Highway Strawberry Plain, TN 37871. Full details of the bid, pre-bid meeting, specs, scope, and required documents can be found on the county website at www.jeffersoncountytn.gov/finance-department. Sealed bids should be clearly labeled “JCS Entry-Way Canopy” and mailed to the Jefferson County Finance Department to the attention of Purchasing Agent Julie Anglea, at P.O. Box 1749, Dandridge, TN, 37725, or dropped off at 1244 Gay St., Dandridge, TN, 37725. Sealed bids will be accepted until 2:00 p.m. ET, Thursday, January 8, 2026, at which time bids will be opened in the Finance Department conference room. Jefferson County reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids and to waive all irregularities in the receipt/handling of bids. The awarded bidder and employees may be subject to background checks prior to starting work. A bid bond equal to 10% of the bid is required on all construction bids as described in T.C.A. 62-6-129. If applicable, the bid winner may be required to provide a Payment and Performance bond.
