Jefferson County Post Debate Set for Tonight in Historic Downtown Dandridge

Residents of Jefferson County are invited to attend a formal political debate tonight at the Historic Courthouse in Downtown Dandridge, beginning at 6:00 PM. Doors will open early at 5pm.  Hosted by the Jefferson County Post, this civic event offers voters a chance to hear directly from candidates seeking office in the upcoming election.

Doors open early, and attendees are encouraged to arrive in advance to secure seating.

Candidates for Mayor, Sheriff, Trustee, County Commission and School Board will take the stage to answer questions on key issues facing Jefferson County. The formal format is designed to ensure equal time and fair representation across all offices.

For those unable to attend in person, the debate will be professionally videotaped and made available for viewing at a later date through the Jefferson County Post’s media channels. This ensures that all residents have access to the debate, regardless of schedule or location.

Whether you’re a longtime voter or newly engaged in local politics, tonight’s debate is an opportunity to hear directly from those who are asking for your vote to lead Jefferson County.
