Community Celebration Honoring John (Jack) and Beverly Kramer, May 23, 2026
Parrott-Wood Memorial Library (3133 W. Old A.J. Hwy, Strawberry Plains, TN 37871), invites the community to come to gather and help honor the extraordinary contributions of John (Jack) and Beverly Kramer. This celebration will be on Saturday, May 23th at 10:00 am. Their unwavering dedication and leadership played a pivotal role in the successful renovation of the Parrott-Wood Memorial Library, a treasured institution that serves as a cornerstone of local culture and education.
Jack Kramer devoted himself to public service as a trustee on the Jefferson County Library Board and Election Commission. Alongside him, Beverly Kramer served as Treasurer for the Friends of the Parrott-Wood Memorial Library. Together, they championed the extensive renovation project that revitalized the library. Through countless meetings, fundraising efforts, and coordinating volunteers, the Kramers ensured the preservation of this vital community resource, ultimately preventing the library’s closure and securing its future for generations to come.
This celebration not only recognizes their tireless work and commitment but also invites attendees to reflect on the lasting impact the Kramers have made on the community’s educational and cultural landscape. The event will include refreshments, fostering an atmosphere of gratitude and fellowship among all who attend.
We warmly encourage everyone to join this special occasion, honoring the Kramer family’s legacy of service and perseverance. Their vision exemplifies the strength of community spirit and the power of collective effort in safeguarding institutions that enrich our lives.
