INVITATION TO BID – C&D Waste Transfer, Hauling, & Disposal Services

Invitation to Bid (ITB):

Jefferson County and the Jefferson County Sanitation Department will be accepting sealed bids for “C&D Waste Transfer, Hauling, & Disposal Services.” Sealed bids must be mailed to Attn: Purchasing Agent JC Finance Dept. P.O. Box 1749 Dandridge, TN 37725 or hand delivered to 1244 Gay St. Dandridge, TN 37725. Sealed bids should be properly labeled with bid name. Bids will be accepted until 2:00pm on October 20, 2026, at which time bids will be opened in the Finance Department conference room. A Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will be held on October 6, 2026 @ 9:00am ET at the JC Sanitation/Landfill located at 650 Grove Road, Dandridge, TN 37725. A Bid Bond equal to 10% of the value of the services and work for public work contracts will be required with bid as described in T.C.A 62-6-129. A Payment and Performance Bond equal to 100% of the service contract will be required if awarded and bond must come from a Surety Company before signing a contract. Jefferson County reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids and to waive any and all irregularities in the receipt/handling of bids. The awarded bidder must be in good standing with Jefferson County.
