Medic Regional Blood Center currently has a need for all blood types, especially O Negative. “It’s a tremendous gift to the community because blood donated to Medic stays right here in the greater East Tennessee area to help family, friends and co-workers. All donors will receive a t-shirt as well as a buy one, get one 50% off coupon compliments of Ruby Tuesday.

Donors are always welcome at one of their two donor centers: 1601 Ailor Avenue or 11000 Kingston Pike in Farragut. Plus, there are always community drives for added convenience.

  • March 20, Big Lots, 264 East Broadway, 11am – 6pm, Bloodmobile.

Donors must be 17 years of age, weigh 110 pounds or more (16 year olds weighing 120 pounds can donate but must have parental consent) and all donors must have positive identification.
