Spring Athletes
The Jefferson County athletic fields were alive with action last week, as the majority of the Spring Athletes at JCHS were involved in games or meets. On Thursday, the Patriot Men’s Soccer team played host to the Greenville Greene Devils. The Patriots have had a strong season start, handedly defeating both Davy Crockett and Cherokee in regular season play. The Greene Devils were a tougher opponent for the Patriots and in the end the teams tied in a 1-1 split. The Junior Varsity Baseball Team was on the field on Thursday, as well. The JV Patriots took on rival Morristown East as they played host to the traveling Hurricanes.
