The young Patriots baseball team had another tough loss this Monday. The Patriots came out strong in the first, putting up 2 runs with a two run double hit by Silver Munguia. Eli Hammer, the Patriots southpaw pitcher, handled South Doyle quite well, striking out six in seven innings and walking two over five innings. South Doyle took the lead and kept it in the second, scoring three runs on an RBI double by Blake Stansberry. Monday was also Senior Night for our Boys Varsity Baseball. The Patriots are losing eight of their players this year but are looking forward to bringing some of their up and coming sophomores and juniors to the line up. Their next game is scheduled for Thursday, April 25th @ 6pm at Hardin Valley High School.
