The Jefferson County Patriots Football Team put their brawn to good use on Thursday evening, as they participated in a Lift-A-Thon to raise funds for their upcoming season. Top sponsorship winner Jacob Manning received $100 for bringing in $595-second place went to Hunter Donahoo who won $75 for bringing in $530 and third place was Austin Stooksbury who won $50 for collecting $320 in sponsorships. Money raised from the event will go to cover player’s spirit packs (game day shirt, work out shirt and shorts). Total sponsorships for the Lift-A-Thon tallied $7,784.

Players competed in one of six divisions, depending upon body weight.

Pound for Pound Champion – Corey Baldwin – 5.26 (Pound for pound is determined by taking the total weight lifted and dividing it by the player’s body weight)
1st 2nd and 3rd place is determined by combining the total pounds for each of the 3 primary lift maxes: bench press, parallel squat, and power clean.
