Carson-Newman to hold used book sale May 2-3, 2013

Carson-Newman University will hold its annual library book sale from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Thursday, May 2, and 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Friday, May 3.

“Our book sale is overflowing this year because of withdrawals and a large number of gift collections,” said C-N technical services librarian Lori Thornton.

Most books and other media will be priced at $1 each. Some sets and reference works will be priced higher. Thornton said there are more children’s books this year.

The sale will be held at the Stephens-Burnett Memorial Library service dock between the library’s main entrance and Baker Building. The sale is open to the public.
