Mt. Horeb Golf Classic

As the last day of the 1st year approaches, Jefferson County’s newest school is looking to add to the newly established playground, as well as funding other school needs and wants. Mount Horeb Elementary School Parent Teacher Organization hosted a Golf Tournament last week to raise funds for the new school. The event was held at Patriot Hills Golf Course and offered golfers the opportunity to contribute to the needs of Mount Horeb students while spending some time on the greens. The Hawks are in the process of raising funds for playground equipment and accessories, as well as stocking their library and purchasing bleachers for the gymnasium. The funds from the golf tournament will go to benefit the students at the school. A fund has been established for anyone who would like to contribute to the playground or other needs and donations can be made directly to the school or can be dropped off at FSG bank.
