Locals found a great, family way to kick off the holiday weekend on Saturday. The May Day Unity Festival was held at the Field of Dreams and folks took advantage of the sunny weather to make the rounds of the various booths and activities. Churches and Community Service Organizations were present at the event to fellowship and become acquainted with other individuals and organizations. The event was sponsored by Tree Ministry. Cumulating the day’s events was an early evening Worship Concert, featuring both local and nationally known Christian artists. The day was a great success and a wonderful opportunity to spend a part of the Memorial Day weekend enjoying inspirational music and entertaining kids of all ages.
