LAWRENCE CLAY “L.C.” BROGAN

LAWRENCE CLAY “L.C.” BROGAN, of Dandridge, TN, born February 17, 1934 in Hancock County, TN went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, May 27, 2013 at The Heritage Center in Morristown. L.C. was baptized March 10, 1948 and joined the Pleasant Valley Missionary Baptist Church where he remained a lifelong member. He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Bertha Brogan; brothers, Willie, Ruey and John Brogan; sisters, Pauline Seals, Jean Lawson and Elora Helton. L.C. is survived by his wife of 54 years, Dorothy (Buckner) Brogan of the home; sons, Joey (Audry) Brogan and Timothy Brogan all of Dandridge; daughters, Vicky (Bill) Moore of Talbott and Debbie (Raleigh) Holbert of Mt. Holly, NC, and the loves of his life, his grandchildren, Jamison (Sierra) Robison of Jefferson City, Whitney and Elizabeth Brogan of Dandridge, Angela (Charlie) Collins and Raleigh Holbert, II of Mt. Holly, NC, Andy (Crystal) Wormser of Slidell, LA; great-grandchildren, Nataleigh and Eric Robison of Jefferson City, and Trenton and Dustin Collins of Mt. Holly, NC; Peyton, Cainon, and Easton Wormser of Slidell, LA; brothers, Rev. E.J. Brogan of Tazewell, Jim Brogan of Monroe, MI, and a host of beloved nieces, nephews and extended family. The family would like to thank the entire staff of the The Heritage Center in Morristown for the loving care of L.C. before his sudden passing. Funeral services, Wednesday, 7:00pm at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ronnie Trent officiating. Interment graveside services, Thursday, 11:00am at Dandridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening, 5:00 to 7:00pm prior to services at FARRAR FUNERAL HOME, DANDRIDGE 865-397-2711
